Wirtshaus Maxvorstadt in Munich

Great inn with great kitchen and world class service. I have always enjoyed going there in "normal" times and can also recommend it for take away. Is just my favorite tavern!

I get in touch a little late, but the inn is great. It tastes very, very good. The staff is very hospitable. Everything is nice and clean. Am thrilled . Just great there.

Now also sensational to-go food. Had a venison goulash as well as roast pork. Was well packed and so we had high quality dinner from the Maxvorstadt for once at home.

Goods for bowling in the Maxvorstadt inn. The track is a bit older and likes to hang, but otherwise still works quite well. € 10 an hour is also a good price. :) There were 7 there. Were received and served very warmly. Drinks and food were excellent. Gladly again.

Should be close to a bay. If you are looking for an inn like the one in Munich, this is exactly the right address. Service polite and fairly prompt the food is just as it should be. I haven't been disappointed here yet, so I'll be back.

One thinks as a Veggi you have bad cards in a Bavarian inn. Nothing like that in Maxvorstadt. Rye Spelled Kasspatzn par excellence! Thumbs up!

Top address for authentic cuisine. Have a direct comparison ... had roast pork today in the Hofbräuhaus, on Thursday in Maxvorstadt. The clear winner is Maxvorstadt! Larger portion, cheaper and most importantly: much more tasty! It's not my favorite location for nothing

The food is really delicious, but the service is not friendly and the customer's dish. We went here with a group of 10 as we had friends from Holland visiting. There was no menu in English (which is really no longer possible today with a central location in Munich!) And the waitress didn't speak a word of English. As a result, I had to translate everything for the group, which is not a problem in itself, but the waitress had absolutely no understanding that it takes time if there is a question and then at some point the waitress snapped at me because "he doesn't understand a word ". It's a shame because when I called to make a reservation, the staff were super friendly. We were there on July 11th.

One of the best meals we have had during our trip to Munich. Delicious, fresh, typically Bavarian food all served alongside great Paulaner beers. The service was quick and very friendly. We might go back again before we leave!

We ate super fine. The waiters are very friendly. The inn is very rustic, we like it very much.

Very good food and friendly staff. It's a bit modern take on the Bavarian specialities. The prices are a bit on mid to higher side but it's still not bad value. And they have a small bowling alley in the basement which could also be reserved.

We celebrated the baptism of our daughter in the tavern. Already the date for the preliminary meeting was flawless and every other contact worked great. Our wishes were individually implemented and especially for the baptism a special menu with our preselected food was created lovingly. Our guests and we were the food and the service more than enthusiastic and very satisfied. Here we would celebrate again at any time, thank you again for this great day!

Great restaurant in the middle of my Maxvorstadt. And definitely a tip if you want to enjoy the sun for a long time. The Munich schnitzel was also delicious and especially the cool beer in the weather.

Asian traveller should not go there. That is only for local germans or white people. Waiter and waitress were good but there was a guy who looked like owner or manager very rude. I will not recommand this place for tourists. I think the comments from only locals who come there regulary. Hey rude owner or manager. I will do same thing to German if they come to my country. U ruined ur country with good reputation. Live in square life. But I like germany and I will try another restaurants to eat german food. Ur food was not very good. Only ur staffs were good. U should thank them stupid bone head.

We were very satisfied ! Bavarian food without the mass processing in the large breweries. Very tasty, very friendly.

Authentic Bavarian Brewery. The food is delicious and the portions are abundant. There is also a waitress who understands Croatian. It would be good to book before arrival.

Tremendous place. One of the best dishes I've ever tasted, I ate it here. The attention is excellent and the prices too.

Truly authentic bavarian Restaurant. Cuisine is excellent, portions are enormous, atmosphere is good, usually quite lively. Try to get a seat on the high tables by the wall if you're looking to stay a while, feels less busy there. Worth making reservations for dinner, too, the locals obviously know about this gem. They have a good size screen for watching football, too, but it doesn't have the raunchy football pub feel at all. The staff is very much part of the authentic Bavarian charme.
